Abstract The article introduces the results of studying magnetic field distribution in alternator inductor with an axial arrangement open cores (OMC) and external closure fluxes. study compares efficiency using fluxes from permanent magnets (PM) on example two model variants inductors OMC developed by authors. analysis density was carried out 3D modelling EMWorks software. It has been shown that such generators can be manufactured a waste-free technology for strip OMC. This significantly reduces production costs By inductor, experimental studies created device show capacity generator varied changing its dimensions number toggle switches rotor. allows to adapted load requirements – power banks bicycle electronics.
